Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist Born in 1965 in the Sivrihisar district of Eskişehir, he completed his primary, secondary, and high school education in Eskişehir. He graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 1990. He worked as an assistant physician at Istanbul Süreyyapaşa Chest Diseases Hospital from1991 to 1992. He worked as an assistant physician in the Department of Child Psychiatry and Diseases at Istanbul University's Istanbul Faculty of Medicinefrom 1992 to 1997. He completed his specialist training in 1997 and became a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist. He worked as a specialist physician at Vakıf Gureba Training Hospital from 1997 to 2003. He became an Associate Professor in 2000 and a Professor in 2007. He is currently a faculty member in the Department of Psychology at Ibn Haldun University. He served as the President of the Turkish Green Crescent Society from 2015 to 2024.
His books,"Child Psychiatry" (2007), "School Phobia in 99 Pages" (2006), "Children in Divorced Families" (2008), and "Impulsivity in Children" (2015), were published.
He is married and has three daughters. He speaks English.
