As the Cansağlığı Foundation, we successfully held our 2nd International Medical Student Congress on April 11–12 in Istanbul, hosted by Haliç University. By bringing together medical students and academics from all across Turkey and various countries under one roof, we organized a significant scientific event.
Bringing Science Together Under the “Brain” Theme
This year, we organized our congress around the theme of “The Brain.” Through sessions in fields such as neurology, neurosurgery, child psychiatry, and medical technologies, we enabled participants to explore current scientific advancements regarding the human mind from multiple perspectives.
We Established an International Scientific Network
Through our conference, we brought together students and experts not only from Turkey but also from the international arena. We provided our participants with a robust academic platform where they could deliver scientific presentations and engage directly with leading experts in their fields.
We Enhanced Participation by Offering a Rich Program
As part of our two-day conference program:
We organized sessions focused on basic, internal, and surgical medical sciences,
We held panels addressing current medical technologies,
We transformed theoretical knowledge into practice through hands-on workshops and courses.
We also allocated significant time for oral and poster presentations to support students’ scientific work.
Contributing to the Future of Medicine
As the Cansağlığı Foundation, our goal with this conference was to contribute to the scientific development of young medical students and strengthen international collaborations. The keen interest and engagement of our participants demonstrated once again that we are on the right track.
We believe that this significant event, which we organized with a focus on science, collaboration, and youth, will add value to the future of healthcare.
