The “3T Competition in Oncology”, of which we are the executor, is being organized for the first time this year to encourage the development of personalized and precision treatment technologies in the field of oncology. Within the scope of TEKNOFEST 2025 Technology Competitions, this competition, which will break new ground in the field of oncology, is waiting for participants who want to produce effective and innovative solutions to oncological problems using the opportunities offered by modern technologies such as genetic engineering, biotechnology and artificial intelligence. This year's treatment target for the competition is “Lung Cancer”, and the candidates are asked to apply for the Genetic and Epigenetic Approaches: CRISPR and similar gene editing technologies and epigenetic editing approaches, Cellular and Molecular Therapies: Advanced molecular therapies such as immunotherapy, smart drugs, tumor targeted antibodies, CAR-T cell therapies and transgenic Natural Killer (NK) cells, Artificial Intelligence Assisted Drug Development Solutions: Identification of personalized and cancer-specific targets through artificial intelligence applications, biomarker-based drug development processes, and Therapeutic Cancer Vaccine Technologies: RNA and DNA-based treatment methods and new generation cancer vaccine technologies.

A New Era in Cancer Treatment Begins with the “3T Competition in Oncology” The “3T Competition in Oncology” will bring together scientists and students to shape the treatment technologies of the future today. Undergraduate, graduate and doctoral students studying in Turkey and abroad will be able to participate as team members in the competition, which aims to make a difference with creative solutions and innovative ideas, especially in a vital field such as lung cancer. Doctoral graduates can only take part in the projects as team advisors. The winners will receive a total of 600 thousand TL in prize money. Applications for the competition, which has a deadline of February 20, 2025, will be made online.
